Happy St. Patrick's Day! This is my favorite holiday! It is so much fun- what is better than legalizing pinching for one day of the year?! Nothing! We had tricky little leprechauns at our house who dyed the milk and eggs green, who filled our rainbow treasure box with treats but hid it and forced us on a zany treasure hunt, and who left green footprints and clovers on the kids faces! We made pots of gold (hollowed out lime rinds filled with yellow jell-o coins) and searched for four leaf clovers and played musical chairs to Irish music. To top it off we had corned beef and cabbage and a week later, our house still smells like it! We had a lovely double rainbow in the sky to kick off the festivities and I couldn't feel more lucky on a day like today for the beautiful family I have!
