To Be a Dad One Day
Koby came into my room with Paul's eye glasses on and announced, "I need to learn to wear these because I will be a Dad one day." I chuckled and prodded, "What else will you do when you're a Dad?" "Well, Dads go to work and make money." After a moment he continued, "And Dads golf." My little 5 year old is so observant! I thought he was onto something and asked, "What else do Dads do?" "Dads use Priesthood to bless kids that are sick... and Dads make people laugh." That's about the best list I have ever heard! Thank you Koby! If he can do these 5 things, he'll be a great Dad, just like his Dad!

What a good daddy he will be. Paul is doing something right.
That is too cute. Paul must be proud to be described in that way!
that's so sweet. that kid says the darnedest things! "what is this holy spirit?" lol!
That is so cute. I LOVE hearing the funny things the kids say. They are so honest and soak in everything they see and hear..thank goodness for you guys it is all good stuff! :)
I love the golf comment . . . . isn't it funny that Koby gleaned that playing golf should also be on dad's top 5, right alongside blessing the sick? Some things are just a male responsibility that they learn in their early youth, I suppose. As a female I guess we have to give in to those most important "responsibilities".
that's so funny. i miss those kids (you too, but less--sorry they're just that cute)! ryan tells us he wants to grow up and be a daddy so he can go on a date.
